Joseph Ida

The writer and composer of The Beholder of Fire

JosephIda1.jpgJoseph plays guitar and piano, and writes music from very early age.

Although he never had official music education, Joseph was trained in music theories by Professor Zvi Keren in the late Eighties.

The work on The Beholder of Fire has begun in 1983, with the theme “Meet Me by Dawn”, although, at the time, the Angel in that early song was not yet identified as the BOF.

In 1987, the first draft was completed during 6 month journey through Europe and the USA, and was recorded in London, by musicians picked in subway stations playing for change.

Joseph got his BA degree in economy from the University of Tel-Aviv in 1997.

Joseph holds a position of a trade manager, heading the department of VAX UK for Newpan LTD, one of Israel’s largest trade companies, which represents in Israel many other leading international brands.

Joseph Ida was born in Israel in 1965. He is married to Merav and father to Riel, Lila and Raz.
